A mixed driven shooting day starts with breakfast at 8-30 a.m. Meet at 9-30 a.m. draw numbers for the day and depart. There are normally four mixed drives, Pheasant, Duck, Woodcock and Snipe, before returning to Presaddfed for lunch, followed by two drives in the afternoon returning for tea, then an evening wild duck flight at dusk. On all shooting days the head-gamekeeper will present the Game Card for the day before dinner and discuss the programme for the following day.
Early morning duck shoot, rise about 6 a.m., down stairs for toast and a mug of coffee ready to move by 7 a.m. Transport by Land Rover or on foot, then by boat depending on which side of the extensive (1 mile long) private lake, Llyn Llywenan, your hide is situated. There is an abundance of wild and reared duck and geese; this shoot is very popular with our guests.
