Presaddfed – Druids' Rest is a quiet, family friendly campsite situated on a working farm and next to an ancient Neolithic monument.
The campsite, formerly a cricket ground, offers flat pitches for up to 45 Tents and 10 Tourers with plenty of space for children to safely run around. 18 pitches with electric hook-ups subject to availability.
The amenities block includes four family bathrooms with toilets and free showers, washing-up facilities and a small shop. There is also a separate toilet block. Free firepits are available on site.
Mature woodlands nearby provide a natural habitat for wildlife including a wide range of songbirds and red squirrels. Occasionally, you may also awaken to the sound of grazing livestock in the surrounding pastures.
The village of Bodedern is a short distance away, about 1 mile, where you can find a well-stocked late shop, a quality butcher and local pub, The George.
There are plenty of stunning beaches, including Trearddur Bay and Rhosneigr, within 15 minutes’ drive of the site as well as the Anglesey Coastal Path and you can be at the heart of Snowdonia and Zip World in less than an hour.
